Artsy Stuff
Some of the things we see are beautiful or “just” very interesting, but don’t really fit in a blog post very well. So I decided to create this post with what I have right now and then I will keep updating it.
So let’s start with an older street light against the gorgeous, blue sky. This we found on a walk on the outskirts of Winterthur.
The next one is an underpath in Lenzburg. It’s actually not scary at all, however, the strong contrasts thanks to the bright summer light made it interesting.
Any ideas what this is? We got home really late that night, actually, with the last tram heading in our direction. As we walked by the castle next to our place, the moon started glancing through the clouds. What you see is the metal “flag” on top of one of the turrets. I only enhanced the contrast, etc. a bit without really touching up any details. By the way, the castle was built in 1293, so it about seven hundred and nineteen years old!
On one of the first days of fall, Sophia and I went to Aarau, a beautiful, small town close to where I grew up. Here we are standing just inside and on top of the still existing walls around the town watching the nuclear power plant just a few kilometers to the west. The sun was shining at a perfect angle at the steam column making it look beautiful and eerie at the same time.
Scary but cool.
Nice, artsy photos! Good post.
