Art in the Wild
I have been in more museums in the last few weeks than I normally manage to visit in a year. However, many art projects can be found outside “in the wild.” Actually, one of Sophia’s favorite is the one done by the Knit-Guerrilla (click through the slide show, at least).
The pictures here show installations by many different artists on a several kilometer-long path through the forest in Olten. Let’s start with some plastic bag handles…
Here’s a wooden waterfall. Or is it a woodfall?
A detail from a church-like hut.
We almost crashed a party of a few green aliens. By the way, feel free to suggest some better descriptions for these pictures…
This girls sitting on a swing was seriously freaky.
Two of several women we met early on.
My favorite installation. Here are a few of about a dozen glass plates.
And finally, some mirror nests reflecting the gorgeous sky.
You’re right, the girl on the swing was and still is freaky.
